Electric vehicle chargers at a Via site
Sustainability

Built with care for people, resources and tomorrow.

Responsible energy means cleaner products, safer operations and stronger communities, today and for the long term.

Our approach

Delivering the energy Ghana needs now, while preparing for the energy it will need next.

Sustainability is one of our four values. It shapes the products we sell, how we move them and how we show up for the communities around our sites. We focus on five commitments where an oil marketing company can make a real difference.

01

Cleaner fuels

We supply petrol and diesel that meet Ghana’s low-sulphur specification, which helps reduce harmful emissions and protects modern engines.

02

Clean cooking

LPG is part of our next chapter. We intend to widen access so more households cook with a cleaner fuel and rely less on charcoal and firewood.

03

Safety and environment

Our HSSE standards cover safe loading and transport, spill prevention and forecourt design that protects soil and water.

04

People and communities

In the spirit of Ubuntu, we invest in training, local jobs and enterprise, and support the communities that host our sites.

05

Solar and EV charging

Energies is plural for a reason. We are preparing to bring solar power and electric vehicle charging into the Via network as Ghana’s energy mix evolves.

Our pledge

Every litre should leave things better than it found them.

We will report on our progress openly as our network grows, and keep raising the standard we hold ourselves to.

Energy for today.
Care for tomorrow.
